Check Engine Light Diagnostics in Houston, TX

A check engine light can mean a loose gas cap or a failing part. We read the codes, test the system and tell you what's really going on.

Check Engine Light & Diagnostics

Diagnostics for Houston drivers

Today's cars run on sensors and computers, and the check engine light is how they tell you something is off. The code is a starting point, not an answer: the same code can come from a cheap sensor or a bigger problem.

We scan the codes, check live data and test the parts involved, so you pay for the fix your car needs and not a guess. Then we explain what we found and give you an estimate before any repair.

FAQ

Check Engine Light & Diagnostics questions

Can you just read the code?

We can, but the code alone doesn't say which part failed. Testing finds the actual cause so you don't replace parts you don't need.

Will the light go off by itself?

Sometimes, if the problem was temporary, like a loose gas cap. If it comes back, the problem is still there.

Is a flashing light serious?

Yes. It usually means a misfire that can overheat and damage the catalytic converter. Stop driving and call us.
